TERRANCE SIMIEN

Terrance Simien is a zydeco musician, accordionist and songwriter. He grew up in the small town of Mallet in St. Landry Parish. He formed his band in 1982 and in 1986 collaborated with Paul Simon after his performance at the New Orleans World Fair. In 2008 Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience won a Grammy in the brand new category for the Best Zydeco or Cajun Album.
